The Legendary Mechanic: where to start reading

Catalog only. The chapter bodies were not read. No quoted lines, no free-preview paste, no claim that a character card, a promo video, or the newest new-book ad equals the first door.

Search The Legendary Mechanic or 超神机械师, and the useful question is still smaller than 1486 catalog slots. Where do you start. The Qidian page does not print an English title. English searchers already use The Legendary Mechanic for this book, so that is the name on this shelf. The story shelf’s first title is 001 初生, in the volume 萌芽. It does not say 第一章. The rows above that volume are not the door. They sit in 作品相关: 主角人物卡（截止233章）, a promo video for a later version, and 众筹白银盟名单. A character card cut off at chapter 233 is a poster for people who are already inside. The newest row the page offers is 新书《星界使徒》发布！, stamped 24 October 2021.

Start at 001 初生

Open 001 初生 on Qidian and follow that catalog from 萌芽, not from 作品相关 and not from the newest button. The Chinese original, 超神机械师, is the book page. On 14 October 2026 the mobile page called it 完本, author 齐佩甲, category 游戏·游戏异界, last update 2021-10-24, with a stats line of 516.88万 characters. The catalog page listed 1486 chapters and marked the book finished. The public pitch was not copied here.

The next catalog title was 002 机械系, listed 2017-05-20 03:52:45. That is a label on a contents page. This note did not open it. One catalog title begins with 001. Later volumes keep the numbers going. They do not start over at 001 or at 第一章. If a search result offers you a row that says 第一章, it is not this catalog’s door. The door is the three-digit row.

The newest button is another book

The same book page’s newest chapter was 新书《星界使徒》发布！, chapter 680523480, timestamped 2021-10-24 10:12:42. The title names another book. It is not 001. The rows before it include 王者荣耀合作项目·铠短篇《异乡人》上线报告, chapter 668316706, and 漫画上线了～, chapter 637952512. The story shelf’s closing label, before those notices, was 完本感言, chapter 617372129, after the numbered run. A finished-book note is a last label. It is not the first page. 作品相关 keeps the three notices above the story: the character card 385931448, the video 397181195, and the backer list 515801878. Those titles were not opened.

516.88万 characters is a warning label, not homework. You are deciding whether a first story title that is 001 初生, on a finished book the page files under 游戏·游戏异界, is your kind of door. You are not signing up to finish a book this page did not read. Finished is a status. It is not a review.

Who should start here

Try it if a search for The Legendary Mechanic, 超神机械师, or 从哪开始看 sent you and you want this Chinese original by 齐佩甲, you can ignore 作品相关, and you can tell 001 初生 from a new-book row named 《星界使徒》. A different writer, a finished catalog whose first story is 第一章 穿越, is the Warlock of the Magus World opening guide. That page used the contents list and did not read the chapters.

Leave it if you want a newcomer’s first chance at training, checked scene by scene. That door is the RMJI opening guide. That page stays inside what it actually checked. This one does not pretend to have read a chapter. The shelf is the Legendary Mechanic reading series.
