Privacy

Last updated: October 3, 2026. This notice describes the current version of Margin Notes at specialshipx.com.

Reading this site

This is a static reading website. Its application has no accounts, comments, contact form, newsletter, advertising, or visitor analytics scripts. It does not ask readers to submit names, email addresses, payment details, or documents. Its code does not set cookies or store reading preferences in localStorage.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare provides hosting and delivery. Requests necessarily include technical information such as an IP address, requested URL, request time, and browser request headers. Cloudflare may process request information and use security-related cookies depending on the services and protections applied. This application does not maintain a separate visitor database. This notice does not promise that infrastructure logs are absent or that no provider processes personal data.

See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its data practices. Provider retention and international processing depend on its service policies and the applicable configuration; this site does not promise a specific log deletion period.

Optional translation

The Languages menu links to Google Translate. No translation service is embedded or loaded by the application before you follow a translation link. Choosing a translated version opens Google's service and supplies the public page URL without its query string or fragment. Google processes that visit under its own policies. Machine translations are not independently edited editions.

You can read the English original without using that service. See Google's privacy policy for its practices.

Other external links

Articles link to publishers and licensed reading platforms to identify sources. Those services receive visits when you follow their links and have their own privacy practices. Margin Notes does not control them.

Communication and choices

This site currently offers no direct messaging channel or submission form. Please do not send personal information through any supposed Margin Notes contact channel advertised elsewhere. Browser privacy settings can limit cookies; avoiding external translation and source links avoids those optional visits. Questions about a provider's own data processing can be addressed through that provider's published privacy channels. Those channels do not represent this site's operator.

Changes

If advertising, analytics, messaging, or other data collection is added, this notice will be updated to describe it and any applicable choices before that feature is enabled.
