Pursuit of the Truth novel: where to start reading

Catalog only. The chapter bodies were not read. No quoted lines, no free-preview paste, no claim that 作品相关, 第一章 苏铭, or a new-book flyer equals the first door.

Search Pursuit of the Truth or 求魔, and the useful question is still smaller than 1629 catalog slots. Where do you start. The Qidian page does not print an English title. English searchers already use Pursuit of the Truth for this book, so that is the name on this shelf. The mobile search for 求魔 put this book first: book 2070910, author 耳根. The story shelf’s first title is 魔序, in the first volume named 第一卷 人生若只如初见. The rows above that volume are not the door. They sit in 作品相关, twelve slots, from 仙逆后记 through 光阴之外动画，年底上线. A title that names another book is a shop sign. The newest row the page offers is 新书《光阴之外》发布，兄弟姐妹可以一看啦, stamped 20 June 2022.

Start at 魔序

Open 魔序 on Qidian and follow that catalog from the first 第一卷 人生若只如初见, not from 作品相关 and not from the newest button. The Chinese original, 求魔, is the book page. On 14 October 2026 the mobile page called it 完本, author 耳根, category 仙侠·幻想修仙, last update 2022-06-20, with a stats line of 459.08万 characters. The catalog page listed 1629 chapters and marked the book finished. The public pitch was not copied here.

The next catalog title was 第一章 苏铭, listed 2012-02-20 20:57:08. That is a label on a contents page. This note did not open it. One catalog title begins with 第一章. It is the second story row, not the first. A second volume uses the same name, 第一卷 人生若只如初见, and it continues at 第九十三章 第四支箭！, chapter 38342826. Same volume name, later number. It is not a second novel and not a restarted chapter 1. If you want the start of this book, it is 魔序. A finished catalog whose first story is 第一章 他叫白小纯, and whose newest button also names 光阴之外, is a different book by the same writer. That one is the A Will Eternal opening guide.

The newest button is a shop sign

The same book page’s newest chapter was 新书《光阴之外》发布，兄弟姐妹可以一看啦, chapter 718009232, timestamped 2022-06-20 19:00:00. The title does not say chapter 1. The row before it is 新书《一念永恒》，VIP上架啦, chapter 311118877. A row that names another book is an advertisement. It is not the first page. The story shelf’s closing label, before those flyers, was 终章 几多轮回少一人，轮回几多到凡尘, chapter 50113369. A row that says 终章 is a last label. 作品相关 also keeps 完本，心言, chapter 50235201. A thank-you is not a prologue.

459.08万 characters is a warning label, not homework. You are deciding whether a first story title that is 魔序, on a finished book the page files under 仙侠·幻想修仙, is your kind of door. You are not signing up to finish a book this page did not read. Finished is a status. It is not a review.

Who should start here

Try it if a search for Pursuit of the Truth, 求魔, or 从哪开始看 sent you and you want this Chinese original by 耳根, you can ignore 作品相关, and you can tell 魔序 from 第一章 苏铭. A door at 第一章 离乡 is the Renegade Immortal opening guide. A door at 第一章 书生孟浩 is the I Shall Seal the Heavens opening guide. Those pages used the contents list and did not read the chapters.

Leave it if you want a newcomer’s first chance at training, checked scene by scene. That door is the RMJI opening guide. That page stays inside what it actually checked. This one does not pretend to have read a chapter. The shelf is the Pursuit of the Truth reading series.
