Catalog only. The chapter bodies were not read. No quoted lines, no free-preview paste, no claim that a welcome row, a restarted chapter 1, or the newest button is the first door.
Search Wait, Immortal: I Only Slay Demons or 仙子且慢，我只想斩妖除魔. The Qidian page does not print an English title. The mobile book page is book 1044652840, author 见月思迁.
The newest row is a leave slip, 请假条. The volume after the early chapters is named 潜龙出渊 and keeps counting; it does not hand you a fresh chapter 1. The door is 第一章：夜驭行尸斩妖魔, in 正文卷. The next listed row is 第二章：阅尽妖魔生平事. The page said 497 chapters. 277.27万 characters is the shelf label. The mobile page said 连载. The catalog header was 连载中 · 共497章. The newest catalog slot is 请假条.
Start at 第一章：夜驭行尸斩妖魔
Open 第一章：夜驭行尸斩妖魔 on Qidian and follow that catalog from 正文卷, not from the newest button. The Chinese original, 仙子且慢，我只想斩妖除魔, is the book page. On 15 October 2026 the mobile page called it 连载, author 见月思迁, category 仙侠·幻想修仙, updated 2026-10-15, with 277.27万 characters. The catalog listed 497 chapters. The public pitch was not copied here.
The newest button is not the door
The newest timestamp points at 请假条. 277.27万 characters is a shelf label, not a dare. You are deciding whether 第一章：夜驭行尸斩妖魔, filed under 仙侠·幻想修仙, is your door. 连载 is a status.
Who should start here
Try it if a search for Wait, Immortal: I Only Slay Demons or 仙子且慢，我只想斩妖除魔 sent you and you want 见月思迁’s serial and not a finished longevity shelf, on book 1044652840. Nearby doors: Immortality from Slaying Demons.
Leave it if you want a newcomer’s first chance at training, checked scene by scene. That door is the RMJI opening guide. The shelf is the Wait, Immortal: I Only Slay Demons reading series. The index is where to start.
