Beyond Time novel: where to start reading

Catalog only. The chapter bodies were not read. No quoted lines, no free-preview paste, no claim that a welcome note, an extra, or a newest-button flyer equals the first door.

Search Beyond Time, or 光阴之外, and the useful question is still smaller than 1381 catalog slots. Where do you start. English searchers already use Beyond Time. The Qidian page does not print an English title. The mobile book page for this id is book 1031777108, author 耳根. The story shelf’s first title is 第一章 活着, in 第一卷 惊蛰.

The catalog’s first volume is 作品相关. Its last row there is 祝烟盟母亲生日快乐, chapter 721089842. A greeting parked above the story is a present, not the door. The newest catalog timestamp is 番外二 花开故人来, chapter 877775323, stamped 2025-12-28 12:03:11, inside 第十四卷 立春.

Start at 第一章 活着

Open 第一章 活着 on Qidian and follow that catalog from 第一卷 惊蛰, not from the top of the page and not from the newest button. The Chinese original, 光阴之外, is the book page. On 15 October 2026 the mobile page called it 连载, author 耳根, category 仙侠·神话修真, last update 2025-12-28, with a stats line of 472.89万 characters. The catalog page listed 1381 chapters. The public pitch was not copied here.

The next catalog title was 第二章 异质. That is a label on a contents page. This note did not open it. One title begins with 第一章. Later volumes keep counting. They do not restart at chapter 1.

The newest button is not the door

The newest catalog timestamp points at 番外二 花开故人来. 472.89万 characters is a warning label, not homework. You are deciding whether a first story title that is 第一章 活着, on a serial the page files under 仙侠·神话修真, is your kind of door. You are not signing up to finish a book this page did not read. Serial is a status. It is not a review.

Who should start here

Try it if a search for Beyond Time, 光阴之外, or 从哪开始看 sent you and you want this Chinese original by 耳根. Same author, a door that introduces the boy by name in chapter 1, is the A Will Eternal opening guide. An earlier door at 魔序 is the Pursuit of the Truth opening guide. Those pages used the contents list and did not read the chapters.

Leave it if you want a newcomer’s first chance at training, checked scene by scene. That door is the RMJI opening guide. That page stays inside what it actually checked. This one does not pretend to have read a chapter. The shelf is the Beyond Time reading series.

Sources and limits

Checked on 15 October 2026, from public Qidian pages only. The desktop book URL returned an anti-bot stub; the mobile book page and catalog loaded. Book page: status 连载, category 仙侠, subcategory 神话修真, update time 2025-12-28, stats line 472.89万 characters, canonical https://www.qidian.com/book/1031777108/. The public description was not copied here as chapter text. First story: 第一卷 惊蛰, 第一章 活着, chapter 717077835. The next catalog title was 第二章 异质, which this page did not open. The newest timestamp was 番外二 花开故人来. The catalog counted 1381 chapters. No chapter body was copied. A reader-count line was not treated as a word count; the 472.89万 figure is the character total on the book record, shown here as 总字数.
