Embers Ad Infinitum novel: where to start reading

Catalog only. The chapter bodies were not read. No quoted lines, no free-preview paste, no claim that a note, an extra, a restarted 第一章, or a newest-button ad equals the first door.

Search Embers Ad Infinitum, Embers Ad Infinitum, or 长夜余火, and the useful question is still smaller than 953 catalog slots. Where do you start. The Qidian page does not print an English title. English searchers already use Embers Ad Infinitum for this book, so that is the name on this shelf. The mobile search for 长夜余火 put this book first: book 1023422452, author 爱潜水的乌贼. The story shelf’s first title is 第一章 统一分配, in the volume 前奏曲.

Eight catalog titles begin with 第一章. Only the one in 前奏曲 is the door. The next volume, named 未完成, restarts at 第一章 回家（感谢飞灰黑度一打赏白银盟）, chapter 626757027, and then parks 上架感言, chapter 626758307, before a second volume also named 未完成 continues at 第三章 图画. A restarted 第一章 is a catalog habit.

Start at 第一章 统一分配

Open 第一章 统一分配 on Qidian and follow that catalog from the volume 前奏曲, not from the top of the page and not from the newest button. The Chinese original, 长夜余火, is the book page. On 14 October 2026 the mobile page called it 完本, author 爱潜水的乌贼, category 玄幻·异世大陆, last update 2022-05-19, with a stats line of 281.25万 characters. The catalog page listed 953 chapters and marked the book finished. The public pitch was not copied here.

The next catalog title was 第二章 复查（求推荐票）. That is a label on a contents page. This note did not open it. The door stays 第一章 统一分配 in 前奏曲. Every later 第一章 is a part label, not a second book and not a gift.

The newest button is not the door

The newest catalog row is 完本感言, chapter 713755538, timestamped 2022-05-19 19:33:13, at the end of 第八部 致新世界. A finished-book note is a finished-book note.

281.25万 characters is a warning label, not homework. You are deciding whether a first story title that is 第一章 统一分配, on a finished book the page files under 玄幻·异世大陆, is your kind of door. You are not signing up to finish a book this page did not read. Finished is a status. It is not a review.

Who should start here

Try it if a search for Embers Ad Infinitum, 长夜余火, or 从哪开始看 sent you and you want this Chinese original by 爱潜水的乌贼. Same author, a door at 绯红, is the Lord of the Mysteries opening guide. A door at 外乡人 is the Circle of Inevitability opening guide. Those pages used the contents list and did not read the chapters.

Leave it if you want a newcomer’s first chance at training, checked scene by scene. That door is the RMJI opening guide. That page stays inside what it actually checked. This one does not pretend to have read a chapter. The shelf is the Embers Ad Infinitum reading series.
