Star Gate novel: where to start reading

Catalog only. The chapter bodies were not read. No quoted lines, no free-preview paste, no claim that 上架感言, a second volume with the same name, or 完本感言 equals the first door.

Search Star Gate or 星门, and the useful question is still smaller than 638 catalog slots. Where do you start. The Qidian page does not print an English title. English searchers already use Star Gate for this book, so that is the name on this shelf. The mobile search for 星门 put this book first: book 1027669580, author 老鹰吃小鸡. The story shelf’s first title is 第1章 巡检司, in the first volume named 正文卷. There is no 作品相关 shelf. The newest row the page offers is 完本感言, stamped 20 May 2022.

Start at 第1章 巡检司

Open 第1章 巡检司 on Qidian and follow that catalog from the first 正文卷, not from the newest button. The Chinese original, 星门, is the book page. On 14 October 2026 the mobile page called it 完本, author 老鹰吃小鸡, category 玄幻·高武世界, last update 2022-05-20, with a stats line of 647.82万 characters. The catalog page listed 638 chapters and marked the book finished. The public pitch was not copied here.

The next catalog title was 第2章 红影, listed 2021-07-19 10:49:17. That is a label on a contents page. This note did not open it. One catalog title begins with 第1章. The first volume closes on 上架感言, chapter 669323266. The next volume is also named 正文卷, and it continues at 第64章 侯霄尘（求首订！）, chapter 669391937. Same volume name, later number. It is not a second novel and not a restarted chapter 1. If you want the numbered start of this book, it is the first story row. A finished catalog whose first story is 001 初生 is a different book and a different writer. That one is the Legendary Mechanic opening guide.

The newest button is a closing note

The same book page’s newest chapter was 完本感言, chapter 713860905, timestamped 2022-05-20 13:09:11. The title does not say chapter 1. The row before it is 第626章 江湖在心中（大结局）, chapter 713772719. A row that says 大结局 is a last label. It is not the first page. A row that says 完本感言 is the note after that label.

647.82万 characters is a warning label, not homework. You are deciding whether a first story title that is 第1章 巡检司, on a finished book the page files under 玄幻·高武世界, is your kind of door. You are not signing up to finish a book this page did not read. Finished is a status. It is not a review.

Who should start here

Try it if a search for Star Gate, 星门, or 从哪开始看 sent you and you want this Chinese original by 老鹰吃小鸡, you can ignore 上架感言, and you can tell the first 正文卷 第1章 巡检司 from the second 正文卷 第64章. A door at 001 初生, whose newest button names 星界使徒, is the Legendary Mechanic opening guide. A door at 第一章 孟川和云青萍, filed under the same subcategory on a different writer’s book, is the Cang Yuan Tu opening guide. Those pages used the contents list and did not read the chapters.

Leave it if you want a newcomer’s first chance at training, checked scene by scene. That door is the RMJI opening guide. That page stays inside what it actually checked. This one does not pretend to have read a chapter. The shelf is the Star Gate reading series.
