Key plot points
Howard tells Chuck that Jimmy has joined Davis & Main. Chuck is concerned. Later Chuck sits in on a meeting with the firm at HHM, and Jimmy is unnerved.
Mike finds Pryce at the police station about the baseball cards, warns him that the police may think he is a drug dealer, and offers to recover the cards so Pryce will not talk. Mike threatens to tell Tuco about Nacho’s secret drug deals unless the cards come back. Nacho returns the cards and ten thousand dollars in exchange for Daniel’s Hummer.
Mike asks Jimmy to represent Daniel. Jimmy tells investigators the hidden compartment held fetish videos. He tells Kim he staged a video with Daniel. Kim says that unethical work will put his place at Davis & Main at risk.
Character development
Kim’s objection is a limit. She ties his method to the job she helped him get.
Mike is managing Pryce’s mouth and Nacho’s exposure. Jimmy is brought in as the lawyer who can change what the compartment appears to be.
Themes
A container can be explained as something else. The legal move is a story about the compartment, not a denial that it exists.
Chuck’s presence in the meeting is pressure. Jimmy’s new job is already being watched from inside HHM.
What to watch for
Watch what is traded for the cards: cash and the Hummer, plus silence about Nacho’s deals.
Watch Kim’s objection. It is about the job, not only about taste.
Easter eggs and fun observations
The list uses both Daniel and Pryce for the same man. The Hummer and the baseball cards are the objects it names. This page does not describe the video.
Tuco is the threat Mike uses, which ties the hour to the Salamanca who already appeared in season 1. The list does not put Tuco in the room.
Sources checked
Episode titles, numbers, U.S. premiere dates, writers, and directors for seasons 1 through 6 were checked on 2026-10-07 against the English Wikipedia articles for those seasons. The season 1 article lists an official AMC series address. On 2026-10-07 a request to that address returned AMC’s Page Not Found page (HTTP 400), so it is cited as the listed series page, not as a page this guide was able to read.
Two official AMC pages did open. The Central Europe series page states the creators, the regular cast, and a ten-episode debut season. Bob Odenkirk’s cast page on amc.com sits on the Better Call Saul path and identifies him with the series; it does not list season 1 episode credits, and those credits were not taken from it. This guide does not reproduce dialogue, subtitles, or another outlet’s recap.
