Key plot points
Jimmy is quickly bored managing a cell-phone store and tries to lift the business. He meets Ira, who has sold the stolen Hummel for more than expected and offers further thefts. Kim, bored with Mesa Verde, watches Judge Munsinger’s courtroom and hopes pro bono defense work will bring her interest in the law back.
Victor sells the drugs from the fake attack to the Espinosas. Nacho tells the Salamancas that the Espinosas did it. The Cousins kill them, recover the drugs, and go back to Mexico. Nacho understands that removing the Espinosas gave Gus more territory. He does not see the full plan.
Mike confronts Henry in the support group for claiming a wife who died when that claim is false. He inspects another Madrigal site and leaves a list of fixes. With Gus, he hears a show of anger that he never reported Nacho’s intent to kill Hector. Mike answers that his promise was only that he would not kill Hector himself. He sees what Gus wants and tells him to supply information about the job.
Character development
Kim’s boredom with the bank work is what sends her to the courtroom. The list presents pro bono defense as the interest she is testing.
Mike will not accept a pretended grievance about Hector. His demand is that Gus say what the job is.
Themes
A false attack becomes a real killing once the Espinosas are named. The list puts the territory on Gus’s side of the result.
A support-group lie and a pretended anger from Gus sit in the same hour. Mike answers both by refusing the story he has been handed.
What to watch for
Watch the sale to the Espinosas and the return of the drugs to Mexico. The list makes those the visible steps, and Nacho’s limited view the last one.
Watch Henry. The list says the dead wife is a false claim. It does not add another case.
Easter eggs and fun observations
The list names Judge Munsinger as the courtroom Kim watches, and Ira as the seller of the Hummel who offers more thefts. It does not define the episode title, so this page does not define it.
Henry is named only as the support-group member with the false story. The job Mike asks Gus to describe is not given a site or a method in this entry.
Sources checked
Episode titles, numbers, U.S. premiere dates, writers, and directors for seasons 1 through 6 were checked on 2026-10-07 against the English Wikipedia articles for those seasons. The season 1 article lists an official AMC series address. On 2026-10-07 a request to that address returned AMC’s Page Not Found page (HTTP 400), so it is cited as the listed series page, not as a page this guide was able to read.
Two official AMC pages did open. The Central Europe series page states the creators, the regular cast, and a ten-episode debut season. Bob Odenkirk’s cast page on amc.com sits on the Better Call Saul path and identifies him with the series; it does not list season 1 episode credits, and those credits were not taken from it. This guide does not reproduce dialogue, subtitles, or another outlet’s recap.
