Key plot points
Kim meets Cliff while Jimmy, dressed as Howard, takes Howard’s car. Jimmy picks up Wendy at a motel and pretends to force her out of the car as he drives past Kim and Cliff, so it looks as if Howard is using prostitutes. While Jimmy drops Wendy off, Kim notices a car following her.
Jimmy finds that defending Lalo has made colleagues dislike him and has improved his standing with local criminals, who now want him as their lawyer. After he is evicted from the nail salon, he looks for a new office. During a meeting with a pro bono client, Kim sees the same car and confronts the driver. Mike tells her the men work for him, that Lalo is alive, and that they are watching people Lalo might try to contact.
Kim looks at the possible office with Jimmy and approves it. She does not tell him about Mike. Gus uses a house joined to his own by a tunnel as an operations center, where teams under Mike watch Albuquerque for signs of Lalo.
Character development
Kim learns Lalo is alive and keeps that from Jimmy while she approves the office. The list separates those two conversations.
Jimmy’s reputation splits: worse among lawyers, better among criminals. Wendy is the person used for the scene Cliff is meant to see.
Themes
A borrowed car and a disguise turn Howard into the man Cliff thinks he sees. The list does not say Cliff speaks in this episode.
The follower from the previous hour is identified here as Mike’s man. The tunnel house is where that watch is run.
What to watch for
Watch Wendy and the drive past Cliff. The list makes the scene look like Howard using prostitutes.
Watch what Kim does not say at the office. Mike’s news stays with her.
Easter eggs and fun observations
The episode title is not defined in the list, so this page does not define it. Wendy is the person Jimmy picks up from the motel.
The operations center is a house joined to Gus’s by a tunnel. Lalo being alive is what Mike tells Kim. This page does not review later episodes.
Sources checked
Episode titles, numbers, U.S. premiere dates, writers, and directors for seasons 1 through 6 were checked on 2026-10-07 against the English Wikipedia articles for those seasons. The season 1 article lists an official AMC series address. On 2026-10-07 a request to that address returned AMC’s Page Not Found page (HTTP 400), so it is cited as the listed series page, not as a page this guide was able to read.
Two official AMC pages did open. The Central Europe series page states the creators, the regular cast, and a ten-episode debut season. Bob Odenkirk’s cast page on amc.com sits on the Better Call Saul path and identifies him with the series; it does not list season 1 episode credits, and those credits were not taken from it. This guide does not reproduce dialogue, subtitles, or another outlet’s recap.
