Tools for a small site that sells something
This site is hosted on Cloudflare and does not sell anything yet. The cards are the usual doors if it ever does: payments, a store, search reports, a short mailing list. Fees change. The vendor’s page is the fee.
Nothing on this page matches that.
Cloudflare Workers
The docs for the way this site is hosted: static assets on Workers. The dashboard route is separate from the deploy log.
Stripe
Card payments for a site that sells something. Identity checks are theirs. Do not put card numbers in your own notes.
PayPal
A checkout people already have. Fees and country rules are on their fee page, which changes.
Wise
Moving money between currencies with the rate shown before you confirm. Not a bank slogan; still read the fee line.
Shopify
A store you do not build from a blank repo. Monthly fee, then apps. Fine when selling is the job and the theme is enough.
WordPress.org
The software, GPL, that you host yourself. WordPress.com is the hosted cousin. They are not the same bill.
Google Search Console
What Google fetched, and which pages it declined to index. This site’s playbook starts here, not at a rank tracker.
Bing Webmaster Tools
The same job for Bing, which still sends some search traffic and feeds other engines.
PageSpeed Insights
A public URL, field data when Google has it, and a lab score. The field data is the one that describes visitors.
Schema.org
The vocabulary behind the structured data on this site. When a type looks invented, it is not in here.
Ahrefs Webmaster Tools
A free tier for a site you verified. Backlinks and a crawl. The paid product is a different door.
Gumroad
A page that sells a file or a membership. They take a fee. You still owe the tax paperwork where you live.
Lemon Squeezy
Another checkout for digital goods, with tax handling as the sales pitch. Read whose entity is the seller.
Buttondown
Email for a small list, with a plainer editor than the marketing suites. Subscribers still have to opt in.
Carrd
A one-page site when you do not want a store yet. A landing page, a link, done.
